Paralegal – Disputes (APAC)

About the role

Join Rio Tinto Legal’s global disputes practice supporting litigation, investigations, arbitration and regulatory matters across Australia and the Pacific. This position offers broad exposure to complex legal matters while working closely with experienced disputes lawyers and external counsel.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and organise legal documents, pleadings, witness materials, presentations and case files.
• Coordinate document preservation, collection, review and production for discovery, subpoenas and regulatory notices.
• Manage legal reporting and governance activities, including dispute reporting, board papers and risk reporting.
• Liaise with external counsel, service providers and internal stakeholders to monitor matter progress and manage legal spend.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as legal technology adoption and process enhancement.
• Conduct legal and factual research, prepare summaries and provide administrative support.
