Paralegal – CTP & Workers Compensation (Perth)

About the role

We are seeking a Paralegal to join our Perth office, supporting our CTP motor vehicle personal injury and workers’ compensation teams. The role can be full‑time or part‑time and offers exposure to both litigated and non‑litigated insurance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the management of litigated and non‑litigated CTP and workers’ compensation matters.
• Prepare briefs for medical experts, conduct document discovery and organise inspections.
• Review, draft and file court documents, chronologies, witness statements and correspondence.
• Engage and liaise with investigators and manage case files, including diarising client deadlines and court timetables.
• Liaise with clients (including the Motor Injury Insurance Division of the WA Insurance Commission), expert witnesses and legal representatives.
• Prepare settlement documents for workers’ compensation claims.
• When appropriate, review and analyse medical and financial records, and produce draft chronologies, summaries and routine reports.
• Opportunities to support more complex, large‑loss matters as experience grows.

Required profile

• Relevant prior paralegal experience in CTP insurance is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Clear and concise written communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work at pace and solve problems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.
