Paediatric Occupational Therapist - Cairns

About the role

A Cairns-based client offers a mostly paediatric caseload delivering allied health services to remote and rural communities, with a team-oriented approach and a base salary of $110,000 plus superannuation. Services are provided in person at the Cairns office, by telehealth, or on a FIFO basis to rural and remote communities for 3-4 days at a time.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, develop, deliver, collaborate on and monitor bespoke occupational therapy programs for paediatric clients.
• Deliver services at the Cairns office, by telehealth or on FIFO to rural and remote communities.
• Work as part of a team with Allied Health Assistants and other OTs in outreach communities.
• Focus on increasing clients' functionality, community engagement, well-being and activities of daily living.

Required profile

• Ocupational therapists with AHPRA accreditation; all levels of clinicians are welcome to apply.
• Paediatric experience is highly regarded.
