OutSystems Developer – Melbourne/Sydney

About the role

We are seeking an experienced OutSystems Developer to join our team for a 6‑month contract supporting the design, development, enhancement, and deployment of enterprise‑grade web and mobile applications across Melbourne and Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using the OutSystems low‑code platform.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot defects, analyse root causes and implement performance improvements.
• Ensure solutions adhere to coding standards, security controls and enterprise architecture guidelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, estimation, backlog refinement, daily stand‑ups and retrospectives.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reusable components and release notes.
• Collaborate closely with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA teams and client stakeholders.
• Provide knowledge transfer, mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous engineering improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum of 6 + years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise‑grade web or mobile solutions on the OutSystems platform.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimise applications.
• Comfortable working in Agile teams and communicating with cross‑functional stakeholders.
