OutSystems Developer – Canberra Hybrid

About the role
Join the Business Systems team of an ACT Government client as an OutSystems Developer. You will work on multiple systems, delivering architectural design, build, deployment and ongoing support for technology components in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable applications on the OutSystems PaaS platform.
- Write high‑quality, responsive and accessible UI using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Participate in code reviews, produce technical documentation and support testing activities.
- Contribute to solution architecture, technical design and continuous improvement of development processes.
- Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems, ensuring security, performance and accessibility compliance.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience building business applications with OutSystems.
- Strong background in Microsoft SQL Server, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Demonstrated UX design experience with knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.
- At least 5 years working in Agile development environments.
- Based in the ACT with full Australian work rights (permanent resident or citizen).

What we offer
- Fixed‑term contract from July 2024 to 30 June 2027.
- Hybrid work model – minimum one day per week onsite in Canberra CBD.
- Competitive hourly rate of $80‑$124 plus superannuation.
