Outlet Supervisor

About the role

Miele is looking for an Outlet Supervisor in Keysborough to join its Outlet team and lead retail operations. Reporting to the National Outlet Manager, the role combines sales and customer service with hands-on operational leadership, leading and developing a team, driving sales performance and taking ownership of the day-to-day running of the outlet.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and customer experience: provide expert product advice, drive sales and meet financial and performance targets.
• Team leadership: lead, coach and motivate the Outlet team in a customer-focused environment.
• Outlet operations: oversee daily operations and coordinate showroom and warehouse activities.
• Stock and inventory: manage stock levels, movements, pricing and regular stocktakes, keeping inventory accurate.
• Merchandising: keep showroom standards premium, with products presented, priced and displayed according to Miele guidelines.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, Warehouse and other teams on stock movements, customer referrals and operations.
• Support promotional campaigns, sales events and process improvements while keeping the workplace safe, organised and compliant.

Required profile

• Proven retail sales experience with a track record of achieving targets and delivering great customer experiences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and motivate others in a retail setting.
• Excellent organisation, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and a proactive, customer-first approach.
• Attention to detail, able to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Nice to have: retail supervision or store management experience, background in premium retail, appliances, furniture, homewares or consumer electronics, forklift licence, and experience with stock management, merchandising and inventory reconciliation.

Required skills

• Nice to have: strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
