OSHC Coordinator – Lead a Team of Educators

About the role

Join the St John the Apostle OSHClub in Florey as an OSHC Coordinator, leading a team of passionate educators to deliver a dynamic before‑ and after‑school program for children aged 5‑12. This permanent part‑time position offers 31 hours per week across split shifts, giving you a balanced work‑life schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Design and lead a child‑centered program featuring STEM, sports, cooking, arts and crafts.
• Manage daily operations, roster the educator team, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Handle administrative tasks, including reporting and record‑keeping.
• Foster a collaborative environment that supports staff growth and development.

Required profile

• Natural leader who enjoys guiding and developing a team.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (covered by employer).
• State working‑with‑children check and Australian working rights.
• Completion of National Child Safety Training prior to onboarding.

Required skills

• First Qualified Educator qualification (or working towards) in ACT per ACECQA.
• Second or subsequent Qualified Educator qualification (or working towards) in ACT per ACECQA.
