OSHC Casual Educator - Charnwood

About the role

Junior Adventures Group is recruiting a casual OSHC educator for its OSHClub at St Thomas Aquinas Primary School in Charnwood. The role suits university students, parents or anyone who needs midday flexibility, offering hands-on experience with primary school children while accommodating your timetable and other commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Work with primary school children in an engaging, safe environment.
• Take part in morning shifts (6:00am - 9:00am, Monday to Friday, Rise then Shine Program) and afternoon shifts (2:00pm - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, Stay and Play Program).
• Work extra hours during school holidays.

Required profile

• A genuine passion for working with children.
• Availability for at least 3 afternoon shifts per week.
• Team player with aspirations to grow and learn in the role.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (paid by the employer) and a state working-with-children check.
• Australian working rights.
• Complete National Child Safety Training before onboarding (via Gecko).

• Pay of $33 - $47 per hour plus superannuation.
• Split-shift model with an extra $21 per day for split shifts.
