Activity & Engagement Lead

About the role

APM Group is recruiting an Activity & Engagement Lead for its Wagga Wagga, NSW site. The role sits within the national Activity & Engagement team and provides guidance and support around work experience, industry qualifications, training and other upskilling activities so participants can enter the workforce. It suits people from varied backgrounds, such as community, employment or careers services, administration management or reception, who enjoy networking and helping people find suitable jobs.

Key responsibilities

• Promote work experience, training and upskilling activities to internal Employment Consultants and Business Managers, helping them understand the services available.
• Build relationships with Employment Consultants, understand their participants' skills gaps and challenges, and act as a subject matter expert on local skill-building activities.
• Locate and develop education and training options by building relationships with employers, external training centres and community bodies.
• Work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, ensuring a variety and quality of activities for participants.
• Support Business Managers and Employment Consultants with participants who need assistance.

Required profile

• Eligibility to work in Australia.
• A current driver's licence and a fully insured vehicle.
• Willingness to complete a criminal history check and pass a Working with Children Check.
• Previous experience in community, employment or careers services, or in a service-driven, planning-focused role, is welcomed.
