OSHC Assistant Coordinator (Part-Time)

About the role

Helping Hands Mount Samson and Dayboro, part of Junior Adventures Group, is seeking an inspiring and motivated OSHC Assistant Coordinator for a permanent, part-time role of 20.25 hours per week, split across Monday to Friday. The role leads a team of Educators and oversees a before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years, and suits students in education, psychology, social work or healthcare.

Key responsibilities

• Design and help lead a child-centred program with activities such as STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts
• Assist with rosters, daily operations, compliance and administration
• Build a positive, inclusive team culture where Educators feel supported and motivated
• Partner with families, the school community and internal stakeholders to help the service grow
• Be supported by an experienced Coordinator and Regional Manager

Required profile

• Working towards or having completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2-Year Qualified Educator in Queensland under ACECQA standards
• Australian working rights
• National police check (covered by the employer) and state working-with-children check
• Child safety training completed before onboarding via Gecko

What we offer

• Pay of $39-$42 per hour including allowances and super
• Split-shift schedule: Rise Then Shine 6:30am-9:00am, Stay and Play 2:30pm-6:00pm, and block shifts during school holidays
• Coaching and support from a Coordinator, and paid training with pathways to Coordinator, Service Manager or Support Office roles
• Up to $750 cash for each successful referral
