OSHC Assistant Coordinator – Chapel Hill & Brookfield

About the role

Join Helping Hands as an OSHC Assistant Coordinator, leading a vibrant before‑ and after‑school program for children aged 5‑12 at either Chapel Hill (20 hrs/week) or Brookfield (25 hrs/week). This part‑time, permanent role offers split shifts, giving you midday free time for study or personal commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver child‑centred activities such as STEM, sport, cooking, and arts & crafts.
• Assist with rosters, daily operations, compliance, and administration.
• Build a positive, inclusive team culture and support educators.
• Partner with families, school community, and internal stakeholders to grow the service.

Required profile

• Working towards or holding a relevant qualification to work as a 2‑Year Qualified Educator in QLD.
• National Child Safety Training completed before onboarding.
• Clear communication, teamwork, and a desire to move into leadership.
• Willingness to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children check.
• Australian work rights.

Required skills

• Ability to plan and facilitate engaging educational activities.
• Basic administrative and roster management skills.
