Operations Technician – Maintenance & Reliability (Inlec)

About the role

ConocoPhillips Australia is seeking an Operations Technician – Maintenance & Reliability (Inlec) to join its M&R team on Curtis Island. The role supports the Australia Pacific LNG facility by delivering reliable instrumentation, electrical and control system performance while upholding the company’s zero‑injury safety goal.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative and predictive maintenance on instrumentation, electrical and control equipment.
• Execute corrective maintenance and troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
• Carry out risk assessments and ensure compliance with HSE, process‑safety, policy and procedural requirements.
• Support quality, reliability and production‑optimisation initiatives.
• Provide technical expertise for QMI and high‑voltage (HV) switching activities.

Required profile

• Relevant technical qualification or proven experience in instrumentation, electrical or control systems maintenance.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and ability to work in a high‑hazard environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
