Operations Supervisor - Reinforcing Business (Albury)

About the role

ARC Metalcentre, a brand of InfraBuild, is recruiting an Operations Supervisor for its Reinforcing business at the Albury branch. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will lead day-to-day production and dispatch activities, supervise a team of operators and ensure safe, efficient and timely delivery. It is a hands-on leadership role combining operational planning, people leadership and on-floor support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily production, dispatch and operational activities to meet safety, customer and delivery targets
• Supervise, coach and develop a team of operators, fostering a safety-first culture
• Coordinate production schedules, delivery requirements and resource allocation
• Partner with sales, customers, transport providers and other branches to manage priorities and resolve issues
• Monitor performance, inventory and quality outcomes against company standards
• Run toolbox talks, training, safety observations and incident investigations where required
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience leading or supervising teams in manufacturing, steel, building products, logistics or similar fast-paced environments
• Experience working to daily operational targets, reporting requirements and safety compliance standards
• Strong planning, problem-solving and multitasking skills, able to handle competing priorities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Forklift and/or overhead crane licences highly regarded but not essential

Required skills

• Computer literacy, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office
