About the role
EnerMech is looking for an experienced Operations Superintendent – Assets to lead load‑out operations, asset readiness and maintenance scheduling for major on‑shore projects in Henderson. Reporting to the Central Support Group Manager, you will coordinate across operations, projects, logistics and external service providers to ensure safe, efficient and compliant delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Lead load‑out planning, mobilisation, demobilisation and back‑loading activities to meet project requirements.
- Ensure equipment is inspected, certified, maintained and ready for deployment according to company and client standards.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and monitor asset availability, reliability and utilisation.
- Maintain accurate asset records, registers, tagging and location tracking in company systems.
- Support asset lifecycle decisions – repair, replacement, upgrade or disposal – based on condition, utilisation and cost.
- Supervise operational personnel, allocate resources, prioritise work and drive team development.
- Prepare operational, utilisation, maintenance and performance updates for stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve load‑out efficiency, reduce costs and enhance safety performance.
Required profile
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant mechanical trade (Diesel Mechanic highly regarded).
- Significant experience in operations, asset maintenance supervision, logistics coordination or project engineering within pipeline, process or industrial services.
- Strong understanding of asset management, maintenance scheduling and equipment readiness.
- Demonstrated leadership with the ability to supervise teams and promote a collaborative environment.
- High safety awareness and knowledge of HSE, quality and compliance standards.
