Operations / Production Manager – Meat Processing

About the role

We are a growing meat wholesale and processing business in Adelaide looking for a hands‑on Operations / Production Manager. You will own day‑to‑day production, labour coordination and workflow discipline in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations and ensure order fulfilment accuracy.
• Supervise staff, allocate labour and drive accountability on the floor.
• Plan production schedules, coordinate workflow and resolve bottlenecks.
• Maintain quality control, food safety and HACCP compliance.
• Reduce waste, improve efficiency and implement process improvements.
• Provide daily reports to directors and support SOP implementation.

Required profile

• Experience in meat processing, food manufacturing, wholesale or FMCG environments.
• Proven leadership or management experience in a production setting.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage staff and uphold standards under pressure.
• Sense of accountability, ownership and a focus on continuous improvement.
