About the role
SGS Australia is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join its Burton, SA facility. You will support equipment reliability, safety, and logistics while ensuring compliance with SGS policies and Australian regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out equipment repairs and preventative maintenance to a high standard.
- Prepare equipment for project load‑outs, freight handling and receipt.
- Complete maintenance records, job cards, fault reports and use the SGS SharePoint system for documentation.
- Perform stock takes, contribute to re‑stocking and assist with procurement of minor parts and consumables.
- Liaise with logistics providers and operate a forklift as required.
Required profile
- Understanding of quality systems and a proactive safety mindset.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
- Computer literacy and experience with computer‑based systems.
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Current Forklift Licence.
Required skills
- Equipment repair and preventative maintenance.
