Operations Manager - Transport, Moorebank

About the role

Toll Group's Global Logistics division is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a major transport operation supporting Primary Connect at its Moorebank site in NSW. The role carries overall responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the operation, covering safety, service delivery, customer satisfaction and financial performance, and involves leading a large and diverse workforce while working closely with customer stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of daily transport and distribution operations.
• Drive safety, service and financial performance outcomes across the site.
• Manage operational budgets, forecasting and profitability.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships with Primary Connect and Woolworths stakeholders.
• Lead, coach and develop operational leaders and frontline teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and service.
• Ensure compliance with legislative, customer and company requirements.
• Manage labour planning, resource allocation and workforce performance.
• Monitor operational KPIs and investigate service failures, implementing corrective actions.

Required profile

• Significant leadership experience within transport, logistics or supply chain operations.
• Proven experience managing large-scale operational teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience delivering operational improvement and productivity initiatives.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including managing budgets and P&L performance.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer relationship skills.
• Excellent analytical, planning and problem-solving capabilities.
