Operations Manager

About the role

An exciting leadership opportunity to manage a major transport operation supporting Primary Connect at Moorebank. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day performance, safety, service delivery, customer satisfaction and financial results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of daily transport and distribution operations.
• Drive safety, service and financial performance across the site.
• Manage operational budgets, forecasting and profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Primary Connect and Woolworths stakeholders.
• Coach and develop operational leaders and frontline teams.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and service.
• Ensure compliance with legislative, customer and company requirements.
• Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions to improve results.

Required profile

• Significant leadership experience in transport, logistics or supply chain operations.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale operational teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budget and P&L management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer relationship skills.
• Analytical, planning and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Experience delivering operational improvement and productivity initiatives.
