About the role

Our client, a long‑standing logistics and freight business operating across Australasia, is seeking an Operations Manager for its bonded depot in Kewdale, Perth. You will lead daily logistics activities, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and compliance while supporting the team’s performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistics operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage inventory control and distribution processes.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to meet company objectives.
• Monitor and improve performance metrics across logistics activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners for seamless operations.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvements.
• Lead, train and support the logistics team to achieve performance goals.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in a hands‑on import‑export leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of logistics practices, particularly in customs bonded warehouses or depots.
• Proven ability to lead teams and improve operational performance.
• Understanding of safety and regulatory compliance in logistics.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
