Operations Manager – Melbourne

About the role

Camtech & Slater Financial Group is seeking an Operations Manager to take charge of day‑to‑day business operations across its Australia and Philippines teams. You will free the founder to focus on client relationships and technical oversight while ensuring smooth scheduling, HR administration, and performance tracking.

Key responsibilities

• Manage scheduling and resource allocation for both Australian and Philippine staff, balancing workloads and preventing gaps.
• Oversee HR administration, onboarding, and people‑management processes in partnership with HR advisers.
• Own billable KPIs and deadlines, monitor performance, and enforce consequences when targets are missed.
• Collaborate with the technical lead to coordinate deadlines, hours, and non‑technical accountability.
• Design, implement, and maintain operational processes and systems that allow the firm to run without constant founder involvement.
• Identify potential operational issues early and resolve them proactively.

Required profile

• Proactive, self‑starting attitude with a track record of completing tasks without supervision.
• Strong organisational and people‑management skills.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities across two countries.
• Comfort working in a fast‑moving, tech‑driven environment.
• Willingness to grow into client‑facing operational responsibilities.
