PMO Manager

About the role

The PMO Manager will support the PACT Program within ANZ's Non‑Financial Risk Operational Resilience division. Working closely with the PMO Lead, the role ensures governance processes run smoothly and continuously improves the PMO function across Group Risk and Talent & Culture teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate program financial management, including budgets, forecasts, actuals, accruals and variance analysis, and ensure accurate, timely reporting.
• Prepare Steering Committee papers, status reports and executive updates by gathering and consolidating inputs from multiple teams.
• Maintain the program RAID register, track actions, and ensure risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies are documented and escalated appropriately.
• Support resourcing activities by managing workforce plans, vacancy and onboarding trackers, and reporting on capacity and demand.
• Identify and implement improvements to governance routines, templates and ways of working under the guidance of the PMO Lead.
• Collaborate with delivery, change, risk and business teams to gather information, follow up actions and keep governance activities on track.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial management, supporting budgets, forecasts, actuals, accruals and variance analysis.
• Background in a PMO, program coordination or governance support role, preferably within a complex transformation environment.
• Familiarity with RAID registers, Steering Committee documentation, program reporting and integrated planning.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups.
