Operations Lead - Northern Hub

About the role

JLL is hiring an Operations Lead for its Northern Hub, the delivery hub within its Projects and Development space. The role keeps the hub running as an effective business unit, ensuring projects are resourced, governed and commercially managed so the Director has the information needed to meet financial targets. It is an enabling, not delivery, role focused on resourcing, governance, reliable data and collaboration across hubs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a forward-looking view of resource capacity and project demand, matching onshore and JBS capacity to project needs
• Use Salesforce/Certinia as the main pipeline visibility tool, owning hub-wide pipeline data quality
• Identify resourcing constraints early and escalate with a recommended response to the Director
• Coordinate resourcing across Market Leads and arbitrate competing demands
• Work with the Client Solutions Team so growth-originated pipeline is accurate and non-duplicated
• Keep resourcing decisions aligned with revenue targets, margins and financial drivers, and support the Director's financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with the project delivery framework, HSSE requirements and governance standards
• Run project reviews, health checks and audits, keeping hub registers of risk, commercial exposure and compliance status
• Monitor JBS resource utilisation and output quality, and provide regular operational reporting
• Drive continuous improvement, build a commercially rigorous and client-focused culture, and support talent development and retention
• Build relationships with national leaders in other JLL business lines for cross-referrals and joint client engagement

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in project/construction management, operations or programme governance, with the ability to run a business unit operationally
• Commercial literacy: understanding of P&L drivers, margin management and the link between resourcing and financial outcomes
• Experience with resource planning, workforce management or capacity management in professional services or construction
• HSEQ governance experience and understanding of project delivery frameworks
• Advantage: experience with offshore or blended delivery teams (JBS or equivalent)
