Operational Support and Clinical Facilitator

About the role

Southern Cross Care is looking for a Registered Nurse to act as Operational Support and Clinical Facilitator in its residential care homes in Glenside, South Australia. This is a permanent full-time position of 76 hours per fortnight, working Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:06. The nurse works hands-on with the nursing and care teams, guiding, mentoring and supporting them.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality audits and support ACQSC accreditation readiness
• Review clinical documentation to ensure high-quality care
• Mentor staff and analyse clinical data
• Facilitate learning activities that promote a healthy ageing approach for all residents

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current AHPRA registration
• Bachelor of Nursing and a relevant postgraduate qualification
• Previous experience in a Clinical Nurse or quality role
• Strong skills in clinical assessment, auditing and problem solving
• Passion for person-centred aged care and enjoyment of educating others
• Valid driver's licence
