Onsite IT Support Specialist (Part-Time / Weekly Visits)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, customer‑focused Onsite IT Support Specialist to provide scheduled technical assistance at our Teletrac Navman office in Macquarie Park, NSW. The role is part‑time, with two onsite days each week, and involves hands‑on desktop support, hardware and software troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth IT operations during the visits.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver onsite support for hardware, software and peripheral issues to end users.
• Diagnose and resolve problems with desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows 10/11 operating systems and business applications.
• Perform workstation setup, deployment, relocation and decommissioning.
• Handle user account tasks such as password resets and access requests.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, including Wi‑Fi, VPN and LAN issues.
• Coordinate with remote IT teams, service desks and third‑party vendors.
• Maintain hardware inventory, asset tracking and conduct routine health checks.
• Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system, adhering to IT policies and security standards.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in desktop support, end‑user computing or IT support.
• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications or ITIL Foundation (preferred).
• Customer‑focused attitude with strong communication skills.
