About the role
Heaps Normal is seeking an Office Manager for a 14‑month fixed‑term contract to keep its Marrickville headquarters running smoothly. You will be the central point of contact for both on‑site and remote team members, ensuring the office environment reflects the brand’s inclusive and mindful culture.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day office operations, including supplies, equipment and facilities within budget.
- Coordinate service providers such as cleaning, waste management and IT/telecommunications.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming office ambiance.
- Manage booking systems for meeting and conference rooms, as well as postage and courier services.
- Maintain the company asset register and schedule regular service and maintenance.
- Serve as primary contact for the landlord and sub‑lease tenants regarding daily operations.
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards while promoting an inclusive workplace.
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors and handle front‑of‑house reception duties.
Required profile
- Highly motivated and detail‑obsessed with strong organisational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to support both on‑site and remote teams.
- Previous experience in office management, facilities or administration.
- Availability to start in early June and open availability preferred.
