About the role
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of a fast‑growing fintech office in North Sydney and support a secondary site in Newcastle. You will be the central point for creating a seamless, professional environment for employees, visitors and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Receptionist to ensure an exceptional front‑of‑house experience.
- Oversee daily office operations, including facilities, meeting rooms, shared spaces and amenities.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs and preventative works with landlords and contractors.
- Manage office suppliers and service providers, maintaining high service standards.
- Ensure workplace health & safety, security and compliance with operational policies.
- Respond quickly to workplace issues, minimizing business disruption.
- Identify and implement improvements to workplace processes and employee experience.
Required profile
- Proven experience as an Office Manager, Workplace Coordinator or Facilities Coordinator in a commercial office setting.
- Experience managing relationships with landlords, contractors and external suppliers.
- Leadership experience, preferably supervising a receptionist or administrative staff.
- Strong organisational abilities with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
