About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Office Clerk to join our Melbourne Operations team on a full-time, onsite basis. This entry-level position provides a great opportunity to gain administrative experience within a leading national law firm.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and distribute incoming mail, post outgoing mail and handle deliveries and court filings.
- Operate scanners, printers and photocopiers; perform filing, archiving and document preparation.
- Maintain kitchen, meeting rooms and photocopy areas, including tidying, emptying the dishwasher and restocking supplies.
- Order and stock kitchen and office supplies; organise catering for internal and external events.
- Provide daily reception coverage: greet clients, answer phones, manage meeting rooms and take messages.
- Assist with general office maintenance and support other national offices as required.
Required profile
- Recent school leaver or early-career starter with a keen interest in the legal sector.
- Enthusiastic, proactive and mature attitude.
- Team player who is eager to learn and take on varied tasks.
Required skills
- Basic proficiency with office equipment such as scanners, printers and photocopiers.
