Occupational Therapist (Supervisory)

About the role

An established and growing Allied Health provider in Brisbane is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to step into a supervisory role. The role suits someone who enjoys mentoring others, contributing to the development of a growing OT team and still working directly with clients. It combines clinical work, leadership and autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to junior Occupational Therapists
• Support new graduates through their structured onboarding program
• Assist clinicians with clinical reasoning and complex presentations
• Guide Functional Capacity Assessments and clinical reporting
• Take part in weekly case conferences and peer supervision
• Collaborate with clinical leaders to maintain high standards of care
• Help build a positive, collaborative Brisbane team

The caseload is diverse across the lifespan and may include paediatric occupational therapy, assistive technology assessments, equipment prescription, mental health and psychosocial disability, aged care, functional assessments, capacity-building interventions, community participation and neurological and physical disabilities.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration
• Relevant post-graduate clinical experience
• Current driver's licence
• Relevant employment screening checks
• Australian working rights
