Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant (OT, EP, Physio)

About the role

Konekt, part of the APM Group, is recruiting an Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant in Hobart, Tasmania. You will support people recovering from injury or illness to rebuild confidence, independence and hope, helping them return to work and reconnect with their social and community life.

Key responsibilities

• Assess clients' rehabilitation needs after injury or illness, including physical, ergonomic, psychosocial and functional capacity evaluations.
• Help clients set meaningful recovery or employment goals, then co-design and deliver tailored rehabilitation plans.
• Manage cases end to end: coordinate with workplaces, healthcare providers or insurers, monitor progress, adjust plans and support sustainable outcomes.
• Give expert advice on ergonomics, workplace modification, functional capacity and return to work based on your clinical specialism.
• Collaborate with clients, treating practitioners, employers and insurers to bring everyone together around recovery and reintegration.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
• AHPRA and ASORC professional registration.
• Passed a national criminal check before starting employment.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Full Australian working rights.
• Driver's licence and willingness to work in workplaces, client homes and remote on-site assessments.
• Collaborative, problem-solving approach, professional integrity and a commitment to client-centred care.
