Nurse Practitioner or Junior Doctor – Telehealth Role

About the role

MediCate Plus is launching a brand‑new telehealth clinic focused on integrative and alternative medicine. We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Junior Doctor/Early‑Career GP to join our remote team and provide personalised, patient‑first care over the phone.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct telephone consultations, assess patient health, and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Prescribe medication where appropriate, adhering to clinical guidelines and patient safety standards.
• Document assessments and prescriptions accurately within our clinical governance framework.
• Collaborate with the small, supportive team to ensure consistent, high‑quality care.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration in Australia as a Nurse Practitioner or Junior Doctor with prescribing authority.
• Strong commitment to patient care and ability to build trust through clear, compassionate communication.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Located in Australia and interested in telehealth, integrative care, or medicinal cannabis.
