Nurse Coordinator – Fertility Clinic

About the role

Genea, a world leader in fertility care, is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Heidelberg clinic. Nurses provide frontline care to patients throughout their fertility treatment, working in an office environment with patients by phone and in person. The role combines clinical duties with a significant amount of patient care, support and education.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face patient interviews and phone consultations
• Work with doctors and scientists to coordinate care and tailor individual treatment plans
• Give patients instructions on self-administration of IVF drugs
• Provide results to patients by phone and support whenever needed
• Maintain accurate patient records, enter clinical data and handle general administration

Required profile

• Experienced Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration
• Strong interest in specialising in fertility
• Strong clinical skills and strong people skills, as much of the role involves support and counselling
• Empathetic, able to build rapport and give genuine care
• Office-based role requiring strong administration skills and technical competence with several IT systems
