Night Manager

About the role

When stores are closed to customers, the night team keeps them stocked, clean and ready for the next day's shoppers. As Night Manager you report directly to the Store Manager and lead, empower and support the night shift colleagues, keeping operations smooth, safe and efficient through the night.

Key responsibilities

• Support and inspire the team to put customers first, ensuring the store is fully stocked and ready for trade every morning.
• Manage department scheduling, attendance and resource planning so each shift is set up for success.
• Train, coach and develop colleagues, building confidence and spotting future talent.
• Work with other store managers to deliver targets, manage stock availability and keep the department running safely and effectively.

Required profile

• Experience leading and supporting a team in a fast-paced environment, whether from retail, hospitality, leisure or travel.
• Natural communicator who shares knowledge, helps others succeed and keeps everyone in the loop.
• Builds positive relationships across the store, stays adaptable and listens to colleagues and customers, acting on feedback.
