Night Duty Attendant – Evening Shift

About the role

Join the Darlington Beach Resort team as a Night Duty Attendant, working evenings to ensure the resort remains safe, secure and welcoming after sunset.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general grounds and maintenance tasks across the property.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas.
• Inspect amenity blocks and common areas throughout the shift.
• Lock up pools, workshop facilities and operational areas at the end of the day.
• Conduct security patrols and monitor the property after hours.
• Manage noise levels to preserve a peaceful environment for guests.
• Respond to guest enquiries and requests via the after‑hours phone.
• Act as a reliable point of contact for guest support and emergencies.

Required profile

• Hands‑on attitude and willingness to work outdoors.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Confidence working independently and making decisions after hours.
• Proactive approach to safety, security and guest experience.
• Experience in grounds, maintenance, hospitality, security or a similar role is advantageous.
• Current driver’s licence.
