Night Auditor (Part-Time)

About the role

The AC Hotel Gold Coast is looking for a part-time Night Auditor to join its pre-opening team. The role ensures smooth overnight hotel operations, combining guest service with accurate financial reporting and attention to detail. It is based in Surfers Paradise.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a seamless overnight guest experience, including check-ins, check-outs and guest enquiries.
• Complete daily night audit procedures, ensuring accurate financial transactions and reporting.
• Reconcile cashiering, guest accounts, payments and daily revenue records.
• Prepare and distribute daily financial, occupancy and operational reports.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally.
• Maintain accurate guest records, reservations and billing information.
• Work closely with the Night Manager and other departments, following Marriott policies, safety procedures and financial controls.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Front Office, Night Audit or a similar hotel role.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Good time management and the ability to prioritise tasks.

Required skills

• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence with cashiering, financial reconciliation and reporting.
• Guest service and problem-solving skills; strong communication and independent work.
• Experience with hotel property management systems, ideally OPERA.
