New Grad Exercise Physiologist - 12 Month Graduate Program

About the role

Proactive Health, a national allied health network with 350+ clinics across Australia, is recruiting a new graduate Exercise Physiologist to start in February 2027. You will join other graduates on its graduate program, supported by experienced Exercise Physiologists and a 12-month structured program with weekly supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Assess clients and prescribe exercise for chronic disease, injury and complex conditions
• Run 1:1 sessions and small groups in a gym, hydro or Pilates-based environment
• Work across Medicare, DVA, NDIS, WorkCover and private clients
• Write clear reports and letters for GPs and referrers, using the AI notetaking software Heidi
• Build your caseload steadily with the support of a mentor

Required profile

• Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or equivalent, completing in 2026 or early 2027
• ESSA AEP accreditation, or eligibility to apply when you graduate
• Eligibility for a Medicare provider number
• First Aid and CPR (HLTAID011 and HLTAID009), or ability to obtain them
• Queensland Blue Card, or willingness to apply
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, completed before starting
• Full working rights in Australia
