Network Services Rigging Trainee

About the role

Telstra is recruiting a Network Services Rigging Trainee (Telecommunications Trainee) who will work alongside a mentor providing ongoing coaching, support and mentoring. The traineeship builds on your current strengths and gives you the technical skills to start a career in one of Australia's fastest-growing industries. You will join a diverse team delivering customer and commercial outcomes aligned with Telstra's values and strategy.

The role is open to Darwin (NT) and Brisbane and Townsville (QLD); availability to start in February 2027 is required.

Required profile

• Ability to follow strict occupational health and safety instructions and practices
• Ability to work at heights up to or above 100 metres and physically fit and healthy to climb and work on towers
• Ability to work and travel away from home
• Ability to undergo pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and a police check
• Valid driver's licence
• No prior qualifications needed; training is provided during the traineeship
