Network Security Engineer

About the role

Centorrino Technologies is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to design, implement and support secure enterprise network and cyber security solutions. This 6‑month contract role will focus on SASE, SD‑WAN, SIEM/SOAR and Network Access Control technologies across complex enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise SASE and SD‑WAN solutions to deliver secure, scalable connectivity.
• Support and optimise SIEM and SOAR platforms, including security monitoring, alerting and automated response.
• Implement and manage Network Access Control solutions such as FortiNAC, maintaining segmentation and Zero Trust controls.
• Maintain operational ownership of network and security platforms, handling monitoring, upgrades, patching and lifecycle management.

Required profile

• Significant senior‑level experience in network engineering or network security within complex enterprises.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with excellent stakeholder communication.

Required skills

• FortiSIEM, FortiSOCM, FortiFAZ, FortiNAC (or equivalent NAC technology).
• SASE and SD‑WAN design and support.
• SIEM and SOAR platforms, security monitoring and automation.
• Network security architecture: firewalls, IPS/IDS, Secure Web Gateways, CASB, Zero Trust, segmentation.
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, VPN and cloud networking.
