National Account Manager

About the role

The company is a leading sports and lifestyle business expanding its wholesale sales structure across Australia. The National Account Manager will own a portfolio of key fashion, sporting and department store accounts, driving revenue growth and expanding the brand presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for existing and new customers.
• Manage the full commercial cycle including seasonal range reviews, design ideation, GTM planning, forecasting, budgeting, order book management, inventory and sell‑through.
• Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, design, production, planning, finance and CX teams to bring products to market effectively.
• Maintain regular field‑based customer engagement and national travel (approximately a couple of days per month).

Required profile

• Commercially minded sales professional with experience in wholesale, retail or account management, preferably in fashion, apparel or lifestyle.
• Strong understanding of the retail environment and proven ability to grow key customer accounts.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal functions.
• Genuine interest in fashion and the brands represented, with credibility to build relationships with buyers and younger retail audiences.

Required skills

• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, order books, inventory and sales performance.
• Highly organised, independent working style with attention to detail.
