Mid-weight Residential Architect (Design Lead)

About the role

Vero Living is a newly‑launched residential building company in Melbourne looking for a mid‑weight architect to help shape its design‑led brand. You will work directly with the founder, focusing on floor‑plan and façade design as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Design and refine floorplans across the core product range.
• Develop façade concepts and families for multiple architectural styles.
• Produce and manage working drawings and documentation.
• Adapt existing designs to different lot sizes and frontages.
• Support expansion of the product catalogue, targeting 20+ new floorplans post‑launch.
• Collaborate closely with the founder and design team on new product development.
• Ensure designs are buildable, cost‑conscious and repeatable at scale.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture (or final‑year student).
• Strong interest in residential design and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• Ambitious mindset with a desire to grow into a leadership role.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD.
