Mid-level DevSecOps Engineer – Remote (Australia)

About the role

Future Group is seeking a hands‑on DevSecOps Engineer to join its technology team. This mid‑level position focuses on building secure, reliable cloud infrastructure while supporting security operations, CI/CD automation, and identity management. The role is fully remote within Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using infrastructure‑as‑code, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Monitor systems, respond to alerts, and enhance observability to detect issues early.
• Triage security alerts, differentiate signal from noise, and coordinate remediation; support ISO 27001 controls and audit readiness.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable, repeatable deployments with appropriate checks and automation.
• Manage day‑to‑day identity and access processes, keeping controls consistent, secure, and aligned with business needs.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience with cloud infrastructure engineering and a hands‑on mindset.
• Strong understanding of security operations and ISO 27001 compliance.
• Proven ability to design, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience managing identity and access controls in a cloud environment.
