Microsoft Technology Account Lead – Health and Public Sector

About the role

The Microsoft Technology Account Lead (MTAL) drives strategic growth on the Microsoft platform for health and public sector clients, acting as the primary advisor to both Accenture and Microsoft stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage senior‑level relationships with client C‑suite and Microsoft contacts across priority accounts.
• Lead the development and execution of a Microsoft strategy, including AI and innovation initiatives, within the broader Accenture account plan.
• Direct cross‑functional teams to design and deliver complex, tailored Microsoft solutions that meet mid‑ to long‑term client objectives.
• Oversee bid responses, pricing strategies, contract terms and risk controls for RFPs and tenders.
• Identify and drive opportunities to expand the client’s Microsoft footprint and manage renewal strategies to ensure long‑term engagement.

Required profile

• 7+ years of enterprise sales or customer‑management experience with a proven record of strategic client growth.
• 7+ years leading multidisciplinary teams to configure and deliver complex Microsoft solutions.
• 5+ years working in health or public‑sector verticals and articulating Microsoft’s differentiation against other cloud providers.
• Strong big‑picture thinking, decision‑making focus on stakeholder outcomes, and ability to influence senior leadership.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack.
• Microsoft certifications (foundational or higher level) preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft AI and cloud services.
