Membership & Administration Assistant

About the role

Commonwealth Golf Club, one of the premier golf clubs in the Melbourne Sandbelt region, is looking for a full-time Membership & Administration Assistant. The role is the first point of contact for members, by phone and in person, and calls for a passion for excellent customer service, high-level administration, attention to detail and a warm, welcoming personality.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure membership processes follow Club policy and procedures
• Deliver a high standard of customer service at Reception
• Assist with the daily administration of the Club
• Help produce and distribute member communications

Required profile

• Experience in a customer service role
• Understanding of a Club environment
• Experience managing databases, keeping accurate records and following processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent numerical skills
• Highly organised, customer service focused, able to work independently and in a team, punctual and reliable

Required skills

• High level of computer skills across a suite of programs
• Database management and record keeping

Working hours are primarily Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with some flexibility; on-site car parking is available. The remuneration package reflects the position description and the candidate's qualifications and experience.
