Medical Technician & Administration (Full/Part‑time) – Melbourne

About the role

Scope Healthcare Limited is seeking a motivated Medical Technician/Administration professional to support its cardiology and sleep‑respiratory divisions in Melbourne. You will assist with clinical procedures, manage patient data, and provide front‑office support to ensure seamless patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with ECG Holters, BP monitors, ECGs, home‑based sleep studies and lung function tests.
• Prepare patients for stress echocardiography procedures alongside cardiologists.
• Collect, record and maintain accurate patient data while ensuring confidentiality.
• Organise and manage medical supplies and equipment.
• Schedule patient appointments, coordinate follow‑ups and handle patient inquiries.
• Download and program monitoring equipment as required.
• Perform general administration duties such as reception and data entry.

Required profile

• Full working rights in Australia.
• Background in nursing, medicine, science or related field; recent graduates or current university students are welcome.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Positive, caring demeanor with high work‑ethic standards.
• Current CPR certificate (highly regarded) and ability to provide Working with Children and Police Checks before start.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
• Intermediate‑level administration and data‑entry capabilities.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
