Medical Receptionist – Full‑Time at Genea Clinic

About the role

Genea is seeking a friendly and organised Medical Receptionist to join its Kent St clinic on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will be the first point of contact for patients and will support the clinic’s administrative functions across rotating morning shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage front‑desk reception, greet patients and handle phone enquiries.
• Schedule appointments, process registrations and maintain patient records.
• Provide general administrative support to clinical staff, including filing and data entry.
• Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence and ensure a tidy reception area.
• Assist with billing inquiries and coordinate with other departments as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably within a medical setting.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and strong communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (6:30 am‑3 pm and 9 am‑5:30 pm, Monday‑Friday).
