Medical Imaging Receptionist

About the role

The Medical Imaging Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients at our new Launceston clinic. You will deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring smooth daily operations in a fast‑paced imaging environment. This role works closely with clinical and administrative teams to create a seamless patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide outstanding customer service.
• Schedule and manage radiology exam bookings efficiently.
• Perform clerical and administrative tasks with accuracy.
• Maintain patient records and ensure data integrity.
• Communicate professionally with patients, referring doctors, and internal teams.
• Process billing and payments, including Medicare, DVA, health funds, and WorkCover.

• Organised, efficient, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Comfortable using digital systems for bookings, records, and billing.
