Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

Join a leading engineering organisation delivering innovative solutions for complex manufacturing and vehicle programs. You will work across the full product development lifecycle, from concept through to production, within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement mechanical engineering solutions and detailed 3D CAD designs.
• Produce technical documentation, reports, calculations, specifications and detailed drawings.
• Support integration activities, testing, validation, system verification and root‑cause investigations.
• Assist with engineering change management, risk assessments and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical advice to manufacturing and production teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in mechanical engineering or mechanical design within complex manufacturing or vehicle environments.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience supporting testing, validation and engineering investigations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability.
• Australian citizenship and existing security clearance.
