About the role
The Blue Mountains City Council is recruiting a Mechanic to deliver an efficient, quality-controlled mechanical maintenance and repair service that meets client and statutory requirements. Previous applicants do not need to reapply.
Required profile
- An industry-recognised trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic, Plant Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, together with M.V.R.I.A. certification.
- Relevant post-trade qualifications and proven post-trade experience and knowledge in the maintenance and operation of light and/or heavy vehicles and plant equipment.
- A current NSW Class C driver's licence.
What we offer
- Base salary starting at $79,483 gross per annum.
- Adverse working conditions allowance of $1,189.62 per annum.
- 12% superannuation.
- Annual performance-based salary increases or bonus (1-3.5%) and annual award increase.
