Marketing Specialist

About the role

Eco Logical Australia is looking for a Marketing Specialist who will lead their own areas of work across marketing, internal communications and employee engagement. The role suits someone who wants ownership and independence in a small, hands-on team, working alongside colleagues across Eco Logical Australia and a wider network of marketing and communications professionals from Tetra Tech businesses across Australia. It is ideally based in Newcastle, NSW, though candidates from other Eco Logical Australia offices in NSW are considered.

Key responsibilities

• Produce engaging content that supports objectives and is published on a schedule.
• Build strong relationships with consultants and monitor industry activity to identify content that showcases the organisation and to build a steady pipeline.
• Design visually compelling assets that align with the brand, using Canva.
• Maintain and improve Templafy, the company's document template and content management platform, to support the sales cycle.
• Help administer the intranet so it remains informative, well-structured and user-centred for all staff.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in marketing, communications or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least five years' experience in a marketing or communications role, ideally in professional services or a similarly complex environment.
• A proactive, self-directed approach, confident in taking ownership of projects and seeing them through.

Required skills

• Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, able to turn complex or technical information into engaging content.
• Confidence using Canva and Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint).
• Digital communication platforms; experience with SharePoint intranet sites is useful but not essential.
