Marketing Executive - Lead Generation

About the role

Restive, a Melbourne-based product strategy, design and technology consultancy of around 45 people, is looking for a hands-on Marketing Executive whose main purpose is generating qualified leads. The role covers content, newsletter, case studies, social media, events, awards and PR, all aimed at driving inbound inquiries. It is three days per week, hybrid between the Melbourne office and remote.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and publish articles aligned with an SEO and AI-search topic strategy, using an AI-assisted drafting workflow
• Run a regular client newsletter covering case studies, shipped work, new capabilities and people news
• Maintain a backlog of client case studies, with a new one published every four to six weeks
• Amplify the founder's LinkedIn presence and run company channels, reviewing engagement
• Post two to three short videos a month on LinkedIn, Reels and TikTok from existing work
• Keep the website current with content, landing pages and capability pages, and monitor conversions
• Host one event per quarter and follow up on events attended and sponsored
• Work with the PR partner on story angles, media releases and coverage of client wins, events and awards
• Submit to industry awards every one to two months
• Over time, expand into partner co-marketing with Shopify, Google Cloud and Anthropic

Required profile

• Experience running a marketing function or significant marketing programmes largely on your own
• Lead-generation mindset, focused on inquiries and results, with monthly and quarterly performance reviews
• Proactive, data-driven and able to communicate openly with stakeholders
• Strong writing and confidence using AI tools

Desirable skills

• Graphic design and video editing, including shooting and editing short-form video
• PR experience and event experience
• B2B services or technology marketing background
• Familiarity with HubSpot and Google Analytics
