Digital Marketing and Growth Manager
RespectX · Melbourne
Job description
About the role
RespectX is a tech company helping organisations prevent harmful behaviour by making it safer to speak up and respond earlier. It is looking for a practical, commercially minded digital marketer to build the growth and marketing engine of the business from scratch: creating content, optimising search and running outbound and inbound campaigns. The role works closely with sales leads and reports directly to the CEO.
Key responsibilities
- Research buyer searches for misconduct reporting, case management, bullying, sexual harassment and psychosocial harm prevention, then optimise SEO and GEO, pages, internal links and technical accessibility, and monitor Google and AI search.
- Create content from founder expertise, approved research and client stories: articles, case studies, emails, graphics, carousels and short captioned videos.
- Own the LinkedIn calendar, publishing, engagement and reporting, and recommend other channels only where they reach buyers.
- Build campaigns linking sector messaging, social content, search advertising, landing pages, calls to action and follow-up, managing approved budgets and testing what works.
- Connect marketing to CRM: build segmented emails and nurture workflows, connect forms, track sources and subscriptions, and test automation and sales handover.
- Support sales with branded one-pagers, presentations and investor updates, and report search visibility, enquiries, qualified meetings and opportunities, separating paid and organic results.
Required profile
- Broad digital marketer with particular strength in search and copy; 3-5 years of relevant experience is a useful guide.
- Experience helping prospects find a business through relevant searches, delivering campaigns across search, content, landing pages and email follow-up, and building CRM campaigns and automated workflows.
- Ability to measure results, learn from what worked and change what did not.
- Enjoys a fast-moving technology startup, takes ownership and is curious about new tools.
Required skills
- Search and analytics: Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and an SEO platform such as Ahrefs or Semrush.
- Content and design: Canva, PowerPoint and a video editor such as Descript.
- Social media: LinkedIn publishing and campaign tools, scheduling platforms.
- Websites: a CMS such as WordPress or Webflow, including landing pages.
- CRM and email: Pipedrive or equivalent, segmentation, campaigns and automation.
- AI and integrations: ChatGPT, Claude or similar, and Zapier or Make.
The role is based in Melbourne and is open to full-time, part-time or job-share arrangements. A competitive salary commensurate with experience is offered. Applicants must submit a cover letter, CV, a campaign case study and a 30/60/90-day plan by email, closing 6 November 2026.
